My most memorable one was against Glint. I went in with a pug and at least half of us had never done the mission before. We had never fought Glint before and nobody really knew anything about her.

We had no interrupts with us. That battle took at least a half hour, but we finally prevailed. So, don't let anyone tell you it's impossible to beat Glint without interrupts. It's possible. Dang hard, but possible!!

My mission of the week would have been yesterday. After helping a guildie from Quarrel Falls to Aurora Glade(he didnt want to do primairy so it was a straight walk) I decieded it would be fun to join a 4/6 PUG as they were looking for a monk I'd convinced them to take my Rt healer.

The start of the mission wasnt that bad, we pretty much steamrolled over everything we encountered. But as many of you know, the difficulty in Aurora Glade isnt the bugs and tree's you meet in the beginning.

So this is what happened in the battle against the White Mantle:
I ask the group to walk to and defend the eastern shrine. I spammed some spirits there so I could run the shard from the start to there, effectivly keeping two bases for bonus. However my guildie (Dervish) decieded to charge into the White Mantle and fighting outside of spirit range. The rest of the group followed him and it became a slaughter. And since I wasnt back with the shard yet healing wasnt applied either.

This quick whipe lead to me vs the White Mantle Army. A quick thinker knows what to do next. Unless you have a GREAT solo build you're confinded to just leave the bonus and go for the 3 caps. Since the eastern shrine was still capped I could make a dash for the west one. then recap the south one(start) and then cap the east one again. For some odd reason the White Mantle were a bit sluggish. I managed to cap all 3 and my party was teleported by the cinematic into the last part of the mission.

The last part was another walk in the park, but I still wonder how I could have played this in a way that we would have made the bonus...

A good adventure non the less.

Most memorable would probably be the first time I ever did Abaddon's Mouth. The 2nd two bosses we had was the Willa-Sarlic Combo. Man they were hard to kill at the time, especially since I didn't know what was coming up. We did manage, eventually, to knock their health down and completed the mission. Second time round my Mesmer went through. GG Willa.

Anyway, yes multi monk bosses can be a pain. Ie, that stupid Magi the Magicbox boon signet boss in the Echovald surrounded by like 2 other monks is just... ugh... But gj winning. Learning target prioreity and about the value of some of the other ways to fight (hexes, interupts) is important.
Yeah, I did.

The monk bosses I find the most irritating are the Mursaat ones.

Near-unlimited energy and constant spam heals and very high armor.
